In Conjunction with English Heritage, we identified works that needed to be urgently undertaken:

– Re-covering the nave roof with Cotswold stone slates
– Re-laying of parapet gutters
– Replacing the south aisle roof
– Re-pointing of stonework to the tower and repair of the stone louvres in the bell-chamber
– Provision of a perimeter drain to alleviate dampness in the floor and walls

We assisted the main contractor in the measurement, estimating and negotiation of the works with the client’s representatives. We then acted as the contracts manager and quantity surveyor, working closely with the architect to ensure that both the workmanship was of the highest standards and that the project cost no more than the limit set by the funding and fundraising
